There are an estimated 19,000 victims each day. 
Victim's average cost to fix their credit is $16,000.

Common Types of Identity Theft

• Applying for loans or credit card's in another's name
• Opening a bank account in someone else's name and writing bad checks
• Filing bankruptcy in someone else's name to avoid debt
• Buying an automobile and other goods with loans taken out in someone else's name
• Fraudulently withdrawing funds from another's account
• Fraudulently purchasing telephone calling cards and wireless service in another's name
• Sending mail to an address other than the victim's

How Identities are Stolen

• Stealing purses/wallets containing your identification, credit cards, and account information
• Stealing mail, including credit card and/or statement's
